Endpoints Recording to @LifeSizeHD Videocenter Must have Multiway Turned On

Ran into an interesting issue/problem. Have a client with a number of LifeSize Team 220 units in a classroom environment. They are calling into a Bridge for all their calls and using the second monitor out for graphics, etc. To prevent a teacher from accidentally making two calls at the same time (and then seeing the calls on the second monitor, we had the brilliant idea to turn off the multipoint calling.

And then for the next week, we couldn’t figure out why the videocenter recording and streaming had stopped. Of course, the endpoint treats the recording as a call. In fact, you schedule a stand alone recording just like you would for a video call in Manager.

So, you have to make sure that you have Multiway calls ENABLED in order to have the videocenter recording work in during a conference.
